Connaught is one of the UK’s leading providers of integrated asset management services to public and private property. It has two divisions: Social Housing, and Compliance Services, Connaught’s headquarters are in Exeter and it has offices throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
The company was founded in 1982 by Mark Tincknell, who is Connaught’s Chairman. In 1996 the company listed on the AIM part of the London Stock Exchange, and in 2006 moved to the main market. In the last five years alone Connaught’s revenues have grown from £100m to £400m.
Connaught is the UK’s leading player in the Social Housing maintenance market, and provides refurbishment, response maintenance and estate management services for council house estates run by Local Authorities and Housing Associations throughout the UK.
Connaught’s Compliance division provides business clients with a range of blue-collar services, including gas compliance, electrical testing, fire safety and water hygiene. Connaught has over 70,000 SME clients as well as a number of national blue-chip customers.

The Managing Director of National Britannia is Alex Sleeth who has been with the business since its inception in 1992. In September 2005 Nick Louden was appointed as Finance Director to support an acquisition programme to augment the strong organic growth.
National Britannia has four broad areas of expertise each headed up by a Divisional Managing Director specialising in Consultancy, Inspection and Testing, Training and the provision of risk related information and data.
International partnerships are developed through the licensing of e-risk MANAGER, risk management software developed and hosted by National Britannia. Licensees offer risk management services in the USA, and South Africa and we are actively seeking or in negotiations with potential licensees in mainland Europe, Australia and South America.
