Health & Safety

Construction Safety Services

The construction industry has a poor health and safety record and though the picture is improving, serious injury and death are still an all too common occurrence.  The introduction of the CDM Regulations 2007 (completely replacing the earlier 1994 Regs and amendments) constitutes the most significant legislative change to effect the industry.  CDM 2007 places additional duties on Clients, creates the new role of the CDM Co-ordinator in place of Planning Supervisor and makes more explicit requirements for all duty holders to plan, co-ordinate and manage health and safety as an integral part of any construction project.
