Information collection
Information is collected in two ways, through the use of cookies and when a contact form is completed. These contact forms are either simple requests for information or more detailed pre employment questionnaires.
Use of Cookies
Cookies are small files, which many web sites transfer to site visitor’s hard disk. Users can set their browser to refuse cookies, or to give warning before accepting them.
Cookies are used when entering our site to record the location from where each visitor arrived. This information is used for tracking visitors that come from our affiliate sites.
Each web page access is recorded in a log file. The contents of the log file are analysed each month to determine how many visitors we serve, what pages they look at most, and from where they connect. This information is not shared with anyone outside our organisation.
Contact forms
The information we collect is only used to communicate with our site visitors and customers and is not shared with other organisations for commercial purposes.
The site has a contact form and we require contact information from the user such as name, organisation, telephone number and e-mail address to fulfil their requests for information.
We always use industry standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving user data, exchanged with our site.
If through the use of pre-employment questionnaires, we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as health details, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors of this through a pop up screen on our site. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical locations (Head office and disaster recovery building) to protect against loss, alteration or misuse of information that we have collected from users of our site. This information will be shared with our Client with whom the user is seeking employment but this is clearly declared at the time of completion.
Use of general contact information
National Britannia Group Limited will use information supplied for administration, marketing, analysing purchasing preferences, and forming the basis of any service delivery that you may require. We may share information, with our Group companies only, but not third parties. We may contact you by mail, telephone, e-mail or fax with offers of risk management related goods and services, or forthcoming events, training courses or conferences, which may be of interest to you, unless you have requested on the contact form that no such contact be made.
Disclosure of information
Information would only be disclosed by National Britannia Group Ltd or its subsidiaries to any governmental or other authority or regulatory body, to the extent required by law provided that the Receiving Party shall first have given National Britannia prompt advance notice of its obligation to disclose and co-operated with the National Britannia in an effort to narrow or avoid such disclosure, obtain any available protection order or the like.
Notification of changes
If our privacy policy changes these will be posted to this privacy statement.
Conflict resolution
We are committed to resolving disputes rapidly. If problems arise, users may contact us by e- mail or telephone and we will endeavour to resolve these by the end of the next working day.
